Home Energy Audit & Rebate Process From Start to Finish
Our home energy audit includes a thorough assessment and walk through with one of our specialist auditors to evaluate your home’s energy efficiency. We measure, photograph, and document areas that need attention, including insufficient insulation, drafts, air leaks, and more. We inspect your attic, basement, crawl space, heating and cooling equipment, and water heater, using specialized tools to identify opportunities for improvement. We also perform a blower door test before and after your project to measure air leakage and verify the improvements.
As part of the assessment, we’ll collect information about your gas and electricity usage to better understand your home’s energy needs. You’ll receive a detailed quote and an energy report outlining the recommended upgrades and their projected energy savings.
We Handle All Rebate Applications for You
While the rebate application processes for PSE&G, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), and Elizabethtown Gas are similar, each utility has its own requirements. Working with an experienced contractor makes a difference. We’ve helped hundreds of homeowners navigate these applications and access energy efficiency rebates.
Once you approve the proposed work and provide your latest utility bills, we’ll submit your application on your behalf, handle all communication with the utility company, and keep you updated throughout the review process. Beginning at 5% projected savings, each additional percentage point
can increase the incentive by approximately $200, up to the program
